Zambia Super League side Forest Rangers have confirmed the departure of head coach Ian Bakala on mutual Separation. 

Fole Malembe confirmed the development in a statement by Club Media and Public Relations officer Christina Zulu which was made available to the ZamFoot Crew.

Forest Rangers Football Club would like to announce its mutual separation with Head Coach Ian Bakala.”

In the interim, First Assistant Coach Kennedy Kashobondo will take over as Head Coach, assisted by Owen Kaposa (2nd Assistant Coach).

Whilst Francis Kasonde and Stanley Mutinta will maintain their roles as Physical trainer and Goalkeeper Coach respectively.

“The Management and Executive committee of Forest Rangers Football Club would like to thank Ian Bakala for all his hard work, dedication and achievements during his period with the club and wish him the very best in his future endeavours.” 

Bakala has been linked with a move to Nkana after Beston Chambeshi was put on administrative leave last week. 

Bakala is expected to be unveiled as Nkana new head coach in the next few minutes.
