The Zambia Institute of Architects -ZIA- has commended the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development, for the outstanding contributions to the development and management of cities and towns in Zambia.
ZIA President FIDELIS KABWIRI has further commended the Ministry progressive policies being implemented at Local government level.
He says Local Government Minister GARRY NKOMBO has exhibited courage, and passion in delivering the aspirations and hopes of the government.
Mr. KABWIRI told ZNBC News that ZIA fully supports efforts by the government to empower local authorities by returning the management of public infrastructure such as Bus Stations and Markets to them.
