18 MTN Super League teams will converge in Lusaka today for a two-day Club Licensing Online Platform (CLOP) officers National Workshop.
FAZ is holding the workshop in collaboration with the Confederation of African Football (CAF) whose aim is to train officers for the CLOP and accelerate the implementation and use of the online platform.
The use of CLOP will be mandatory in the Super League from the 2024/25 season. The CLOP is a system that allows clubs, FAZ, CAF and other football stakeholders to manage the process of club licensing online as opposed to the manual way of submitting documents.
The two-day national workshop will train Zambian Premier League clubs on the use of CLOP, present the CAF Club Licensing regulatory framework for mens and womens teams and explain the mandatory criteria for domestic and CAF competitions.
