The Africa Mineral Development Center is developing the Africa Green Minerals Strategy aimed at adding value to minerals such as Lithium, Cobalt, Graphite, Manganese, Nickel and Copper.
The Centre is working with leadership of Africa Development Bank to develop the Strategy which will also help create jobs, transfer technology and infrastructure for economic transformation.
Centre Interim Director MARIT KITAW says the Strategy will be made public after going through the African Union system and approval from member states.
Dr. KITAW was speaking in an interview with ZANIS at the official opening of the exhibition for Africa Gemstone and Jewellery Exhibition Conference -AGJEC- held in Ndola.
