Thirty-two people have died in a road traffic accident in Mboroma Area of Luano District, in Central Province.
Central Province, Deputy Police Commissioner CHARITY MUNGANGA says 19 other people suffered injuries and are admitted to MKUSHI District Hospital.
Ms. MUNGANGA says the accident happened after a Scania truck lost control and overturned on the Masansa -Mboroma road in Luano district, due to over speeding.
She says the truck which was being driven by EMMANUEL CHUNGA aged 32 of Itala compound in Mkushi, had an undisclosed number of passengers on board.
Ms. MUNGANGA told ZNBC News that the bodies of the deceased are being ferried to Hospitals in the Province due to the small capacity of the mortuary in Luano.
