Power Utility, ZESCO Limited has announced that some parts of the country will experience power outages beginning today, October 29th to 7th November 2021 from 18:30 to 21:00hrs.

ZESCO Senior Cooperate Affairs Manager John Kunda has attributed this to a generating unit at Kariba North Bank Power Station and another at Kafue Gorge Upper Power Station that have faults which have resulted in a power deficit of 250 megawatts.

Announcing the development during a media briefing in Lusaka today, Dr Kunda explained that this is the unit that was responsible for the countrywide blackout experienced on 8th October.

He however said engineers are on course to deal with the problem.
