Secretary to the Treasury, FELIX NKULUKUSA says the 2024 national budget seeks to create more jobs and bring down poverty levels in the country.
Speaking at the post-budget review in Kitwe last evening, Mr NKULUKUSA added that government is working towards finalising Zambia’s debt negotiations with each of its bilateral lenders so it can get more resources for needy areas.
And First National Bank -FNB- Chief Financial Officer, KAMPAMBA MULENGA said the 2024 national budget will give room to the private sector to grow.
Mr. MULENGA said FNB wants to play its part in Zambia’s economic growth.
Meanwhile, Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants -ZICA- President YANDE MWENYE praised government on its decision to increase Constituency Development Fund -CDF .
