(ZANIS) Police have managed to retrieve two bodies of female illegal miners, who died in Masuku area in Choma, Southern province.
Three female miners were yesterday trapped while undertaking illegal mining activities after the area they were mining from curved in.
One woman was rescued.
Southern Province Commanding Officer, AUXENSIO DAKA has confirmed the retrieval of the bodies of MATRIDAH SINAMWEENDA, aged 40, and GINITAR SIANJINI, aged 37, all of Mucukwa Village.
