About 12 swimmers will represent the country at the 2023 Africa Junior Championships slated for Mauritius in December.
Zambia Swimming Union -ZASU- President GUY PHIRI says the number is subject to change as more Athletes are yet to meet the qualifying times.
PHIRI told ZNBC Sports News in a telephone interview that this is why the Association will use this weekendโs swimming gala to ensure that more swimmers meet their respective qualifying times.
He said the gala which is the first national swimming event for the 2023/2024 season will be held in Solwezi North Western Province over the weekend .
